  18. <p>     Maybe Rachel London calls her far-out fashions "ha-ha
  19. couture" because she laughs all the way to the bank. At her Los
  20. Angeles boutique, which doubles as her bedroom, frocks blossom
  21. with brilliant polyester roses. They are snapped up by the
  22. likes of Lisa Bonet and Cyndi Lauper. This month her creations
  23. will be on display at the Louvre, and they soon will go on sale
  24. in Japan. Says London: "I think of myself as a one-woman
  25. empire." Now she'll be rubbing shoulders with the Mona Lisa.
